Stopover Project accepts referrals from across the city and is a resource for Glasgow’s young people. Residents of Stopover represent some of the most vulnerable young people in Glasgow, and it is the Project’s intention to provide these young people with high levels of support in order to address their homelessness. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Full Time Project Workers within the Stopover Service working 39 hours per week.  The successful candidate will ensure individuals supported by the project receive the best possible service at all times, as well as creating a safe, nurturing and enabling environment to maximise the potential benefit to the individuals we support. Project Workers contribute to the formation of operational policy and to the development of practice within the project, as well as all necessary risk assessments to ensure risks are minimised and manageable. You will participate actively in team meetings, supervisions and all other forums aimed at developing policy and practice. The successful candidates will uphold the values, principles and policies of Quarriers and operate within the specified guidelines. All work undertaken will be recorded to a high level of accuracy and detail.

You will be supporting young people who are experiencing low mood, anxiety or poor mental well-being related to poverty, social exclusion, exploitation and childhood trauma, as well as providing therapeutic support in a nurturing and inclusive environment within the Stopover Project.  There is a rolling 7 week rota system in place.
