Your new opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Property Assistant to join our corporate service team on a full time (35 hours per week), permanent basis.

Quarriers has a substantial portfolio of historical and modern buildings which require ongoing inspection and maintenance; you will be required to carry out regular review and instruct/manage ongoing list of works while working closely with the Director of Corporate Services. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders with any property related matters in line with agreed project budgets.

As a key member of the team, you will assist in managing and implementing planning and preventative maintenance systems and manage programme of works including redecoration, repair and finishings.

This is a great role for someone looking to develop in the property sector and someone who is keen to be involved in old and new buildings.

What you will need to succeed/bring to the role

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of property legislation and building regulations
  • A genuine desire to develop a career within a diverse in-house property portfolio.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage your own time and contribute towards team targets/goals.
  • Motivation and attention to detail
  • A full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
