If so, then we have a great opportunity for you to join our Stopover Youth Homeless Service as a Project Manager. 

Your new opportunity

Quarriers Stopover Service is currently recruiting a Project Manager to join our dedicated team based in Pollokshields, Glasgow. The service provides support to young people who are homeless. This is the perfect time for someone to join the service through a period of change and help support a dedicated team of project workers who support young people through trauma informed practices and empower young people, so their voice is heard.

The Promise’ is that Scotland’s children will grow up loved, safe and respected and as the Project Manager you will be expected to embrace this approach and manage the team effectively to deliver #keepthepromise. You will work closely with staff and young people aged between 16-25 exploring opportunities for them so they can lead fulfilling lives. A key responsibly will be to lead staff, rota planning and development of the service as it grows through a period of change.

This is an exciting time to join and we are looking for someone who is dedicate to providing high quality care to young people while maintain and safe environment for all. 

Working pattern This is a full-time permanent role, working 37 hours per week 5 over 7 days. You will also be part of the wider management team on call system on a rotational basis.

What you will need to succeed/bring to the role

  • A driven leader who has previous management experience
  • Hold an SVQ Health & Social Care level 4 or equivalent.
  • Compassion and kindness to support staff and young people within the service.
  • Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals.
  • Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
  • Good IT & communication skills.
  • Proactive and skilled in building strong lasting relationships.
