Support Worker

Salary £10.90 per hour (pay uplift to £12 effective from April 2024)

Your new opportunity

Paisley and Johnstone service are recruiting Support Workers, contracted and relief to work within our Adult Supported Living Services in Johnstone/Paisley area.

Johnstone service is based at 90 Burns Drive. This service provides support to six ladies within their own flat, who have a wide range of learning disabilities. This is a 24 hour service also with a wakened nightshift and a sleepover.

Paisley service is a house of multiple occupancy supporting 5 individuals with a wide range of learning and physical disabilities. This is based at 12 Brewster Avenue. 24 hour service with a wakened nightshift.   

Our service aim is to ensure the people we support live a happy and healthy life filled with opportunities to fulfil their potential and aspirations. Staff will support and encourage individuals to maximize their capabilities and learn new skills.

Working pattern will vary depending on which service you are assigned to. Typical shifts would include: 

Early shifts (mornings), late shifts (afternoons/evenings), day shifts  & sleepover shifts. Please note we manage shifts on a rotational basis where staff work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the people we support and will include working weekends. Sleepover shifts are paid at an hourly rate of £10.90 and can also offer extra earning potential. Nightshifts are paid at £11.88 from 11pm - 7am. 

There is robust training within Quarriers and you will have a named mentor to support you with induction.

  • Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener.
  • Good IT & communication skills.
  • Due to the location of the services and shift patterns we recommend candidates have access to their own transport.
