Your new opportunity 

Ayrshire Youth Support Service
is currently recruiting a part time Deputy Manager to lead and a dedicated team who support young people aged 16-25 years who are homeless. Quarriers AYSS provide quality support and build professional relationships to enable young people to sustain their tenancy and reduce repeat homelessness. 

As Deputy Manager you will work with staff to ensure the young people supported are positively mentored and while their individual needs are supported. Some of the young people we support will have experienced severe trauma in their young lives, therefore you will lead the team and champion #keepingthepromise so that Scotland's children and young people grow up loved, safe and respected. A key part of the role will be to listen and build strong trusting relationships with staff and young people to ensure they feel safe and heard.

You will work closely with the wider management team and included in managing staff rota/shift cover. 

This is a part time role, working 21 hours per week.
