Are you looking for a role working alongside Police Scotland, Scottish Ambulance Service and the Moray Integrated Drug and Alcohol Services? Are you passionate about supporting people suffering from addiction? If so, then we have a great role for you as a Recovery Fieldworker.

Your new opportunity 

We are currently recruiting for a Recovery Fieldworker in Moray to provide targeted fieldwork and assertive outreach support for Adults and families experiencing substance use and alcohol use issues.

You will be required to provide MAT service delivery alongside the MAT duty team, covering the duty rota, attending daily Multi-Disciplinary MAT meetings and supporting engagement, harm reduction and outreach to individuals needing support.

We require someone who can build strong relationships with people of all backgrounds including making relationships with colleagues within Police Scotland and The Scottish Ambulance Service. This role will include a lot of outreach to these organisations in order to support Police Scotland, The School project (Initiative aware) Scottish Ambulance service and the MIDAS health team to encourage re-engagement of individuals at high risk of harm.

You will work closely with the Prison link project, through care support for individual service users returning to Moray upon liberation.

This role you will have autonomy over your own dairy, it is important that you are someone who is self sufficient and can work on your own initiative.

Working pattern: This is a full time, Permanent role working 35 hours per week.
