Are you looking for a role providing advise in a community based setting? If so we have a great role for you as an Epilepsy Community Outreach Worker across Aberdeenshire!
Your new opportunity
Quarriers are currently recruiting 2x full time Epilepsy Community Outreach Workers to join our team covering a geographical remit across Aberdeenshire. You will work closely within the community providing advise to people who are living with epilepsy and offering information on what is available to them. You will also visit people within their own homes and provide housing support with regards to applications and entitlement to support their epilepsy needs. You will be a champion for epilepsy awareness and take part in facilitating/delivering group sessions proving support and raising Quarriers profile.
A key part of the role will be consultative, providing information in relation to the effects of epilepsy and how this can be managed, you will also at times may need to deliver epilepsy first aid, however full training, guidance, mentoring and support will be provided to ensure you are confident and well equipped to support this.

Working pattern: These positions are full time working 37 hours per week Monday -Friday with occasional evenings and weekends depending on service need. Offering Fixed term until March 2025 & 1x March 2026.
