Your new opportunity

Riverview are looking for Relief Support Workers within their Adult Respite service set within Quarriers village.

All the People we support have Person Centred support Plans and their own hobbies and interest. A selection of interests includes Gardening, Baking and arts and crafts.

In the evening Support staff will be required to supervise People we support who maybe awake at night time and provide support as necessary

All new staff will have the opportunity to have service specific training, together with mandatory training.  Each new staff member will have the support of mentors within the service who will assist with induction and development.

Typical shifts would include: 

Nightshift post start at 9.30pm until 7.30am.

Please note we manage shifts on a rotational basis where staff work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the people we support and will include working weekends. Sleepover shifts are paid at an hourly rate of £12.00 and can also offer extra earning potential. Nightshifts are paid at an enhanced rate of £12.98 from Midnight to 7am. 

What you will need to succeed/bring to the role

  • Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals.
  • Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
  • Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener.
  • Good IT & communication skills.
  • A full driving license is desirable.
