Your new opportunity 

Quarriers Countryview Children's Short Breaks service located in idyllic  Quarriers Village, Bridge of Weir is currently recruiting a full time Deputy Project Manager. The service is a well equipped bungalow with beautiful surroundings where comprehensive intensive support and care is delivered to children and young people with complex needs. 

As Deputy Project Manager you will provide leadership and guidance to practitioners while on shift and supervision of care to ensure each child and young person has a great experience while visiting the service. You will monitor support to ensure high standard of complex care is maintained and provide any training to staff when required. At times you will be responsible for delivering direct support to individuals and communicate with families about visits while ensuring each person who accesses the service would love the opportunity to visit time and time again.

Working pattern: This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours week,  5 over 7 days. You will be required to cover on call duties which is on a rotational basis. 

What you will need to bring to the role

  • HNC Social Services SCQF Level 7 or relevant Health, Social Care or Education qualification
  • Previous supervision experience/training or will undertake Quarriers PDA in supervision training.
  • Experience of working within relevant residential or short breaks services
  • Good IT & communication skills.
  • Due to the location of the services we recommend candidates have access to their own transport.
