Your new opportunity
Quarriers Fife Adult Support Living services are currently recruiting part time Female Support Workers. The services are situated in a row of 6 cottages within an idyllic setting in Cowdenbeath where we support adults who have emotional/mental health support needs and learning disabilities. One of the six cottages is the central hub office base for staff to enjoy and where peer support is offered. Within the 5 cottages you will be supporting people in their own home, assisting them with daily life task such as cooking, hobbies and domestic duties. The people we support are independent and at times may need assistance with person care.
As a Support Worker within our Fife services, you will be provided with training and given the opportunity to thrive in a role where you can make a difference to a person’s life every day. An important part of the role is being able to connect with the people we support and understanding their individual needs and personal goals. As a Support Worker at Quarriers you will promote inclusivity and support people with accessing local opportunities and activities/hobbies they enjoy.
Working pattern: Our day shifts start from 7:45am – 8pm and staff are provided with a rota in advance. We support people 24/7 therefore a level of flexibility is required to meet individual needs, however we aim to offer every 2nd weekend off to staff depending on availability and the needs of the people we support.
