Your New Opportunity
Families Matter Kinship Care Service is commissioned by the Health and Social Care Partnership in Glasgow to deliver a safeguarding and support service to over 300 children and young people in the North East and North West of the city, working in partnership with Children 1st in the South. Our well-established service model involves undertaking regular home visits and identifying any supports that would enhance the wellbeing of children, young people and Kinship carers, working together to ensure the support is right, taking a relational and strengths-based approach.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Project Manager to join our team on a full time 35 hours per week basis. Candidates should be qualified to SCQF Level 9 and have a sound knowledge of national child protection frameworks and procedures.
The safety of children and young people, and promoting their wellbeing is central to our work. They may have been affected by trauma and their kinship families may be dealing with complex situations. It is therefore essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate an understanding of the impact of trauma and child development, and of the GIRFEC national practice model as well as career experience of working with children and families.
