Your new opportunity

Quarriers internal and external communications team are currently recruiting a relief Policy Officer who will play a part in managing external relations and research projects. You will work with the team providing support in gathering, reviewing, analysing and organising information. You will work closely with the Head of Development and External Relations collating information which will contribute towards departmental goals and vision.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone who is flexible and looking for a role where you can develop and play a key part in research.

Working pattern: This is a relief contract; hours will vary depending on departmental needs when required. Flexibility to work various days is essential.

What you will need to bring to the role

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Previous experience of report writing and social media searching.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to analyse and organise data while identifying trends where appropriate
  • Competent in using Outlook, MS Office packages, social media platforms etc.
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
