Your new opportunity: 

We are seeking dedicated Support workers who can deliver effective support to people in their everyday lives. No two days are the same and thinking on your feet will help you build an understand and rapport with each person we support.

Being a Support Worker isn’t just a job it’s a chance to change someone’s life and help them live independently and achieve individual goals.

It can be the little moments like making a cup of tea and sharing special moments and being part of activities people enjoy. We don’t wear uniforms, but you must be prepared to roll up your sleaves and help with daily household tasks such as cooking and cleaning.

Being on time to support someone is crucial as they rely on someone showing up for them everyday and its important you take the time to get to know each person and build long lasting relationships.

You will see the rewards in supporting people from helping them put their socks on to a fun night bowling or karaoke but don’t worry we won’t make you sing!

Working pattern: We are recruiting Support Workers for both 2 x Part-Time And 2 x Full-Time roles working between 20 - 39 hours per week. 

Shift patterns: Typically 7am - 2pm & 2pm 9:30pm. Nightshift from 9.30pm to 7am. Nightshifts are paid at an enhanced rate of £13.58 from Midnight to 7am.  Including sleepovers 

What you will need to bring to the role

  • Must be a driver due to the location
  • Compassion and kindness to support people in their day to day lives.
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
  • Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals.
  • Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
  • Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener.
  • Good IT & communication skills.
  • Due to the idyllic location of the service a driving licence is essential.
