At Quarriers, we have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Homelife Girvan service, supporting adults with complex needs to live as independently as possible in their own homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team delivering an excellent, person-centred service that empowers people to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

About the role

As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support. You’ll lead, motivate and develop a team of Support Workers while working closely with management to maintain a safe, respectful and supportive environment.

You will:

  • Lead and support a team to deliver outstanding care and support
  • Ensure person-centred approaches are embedded in daily practice
  • Promote independence, dignity and choice for the people we support
  • Support staff development, supervision and performance
  • Maintain high standards in line with regulatory and organisational requirements
  • Contribute to rota management and service delivery across a 7-day service

This is a permanent full time role working 39 hours per week 5 days over 7. 

About you:

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has proven skills working in social care, ideally supporting adults with complex needs
  • Has leadership or supervisory experience (or is ready to step up)
  • Demonstrates strong communication and organisational skills
  • Is passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives
  • Works collaboratively and leads by example

Qualifications & Requirements

  • SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – essential
  • Willingness to work towards SVQ Level 4
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) (or willingness to achieve this)
  • A full driving licence is desirable
